L’Aloze, a seaside brasserie

Boasting a truly stunning location on the seafront, the brasserie is a culinary haven which offers diners a warm welcome, whether you’re eating with family or friends. The ground floor and the terrace of L’Aloze exert a seemingly magnetic force in Wimereux: it’s impossible for passers-by to resist.

Featuring raw wood tables and comfy chairs, the Scandinavian feel of this restaurant ensures that the endless drama of the sea’s waves is the real star of the show here. Whether you’re eating on the terrace or in the brasserie’s dining room, you can gaze through the large bay windows to admire the waves and the passers-by as they walk along Wimereux’s sea wall.

Here, the focus is simply on relaxation, whether your day on the Côte d’Opale is coming to an end or you’re simply taking a break before continuing your sight-seeing. Although the brasserie L’Aloze boasts the culinary signature of the chef who presides over the hotel’s top floor (in the Michelin-starred restaurant La Liégeoise), a meal here is a simple, relaxed and sociable affair.

Cuisine showcasing seafood and meat

At L’Aloze, all eyes are drawn to the brasserie’s bay window. But the sea also takes centre stage on each and every plate: seafood, smoked salmon and fresh fish are carefully prepared in dishes which reflect the seasons, while daily specials make use of fresh ingredients from the local market.

However, although it celebrates Wimereux’s seafood, the brasserie also serves delicious, classic cuts of meat, from beef fillet to veal, with a regularly changing choice of dishes. The à la carte menu is particularly varied and always features something new. There’s a children’s menu too, designed to educate their young palates.

Perfectly cooked, with subtle and flavourful sides, it goes without saying that the dishes served here are a reflection of traditional French gastronomy, created by a team of experts who have been trained by a Michelin-starred chef. What’s more, the brasserie’s dishes are particularly affordable: you’ll be keen to come back for more.
